2 Corinthians 6:1-10
Psalms 98:1-4
Matthew 5:38-42

2 Corinthians 6:1-10
(1) Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain, (2) for he says, “At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. (3) We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed, (4) but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses, (5) in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings; (6) in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love, (7) in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, (8) by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true; (9) as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and not killed; (10) as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

Psalms 98:1-4
(1) Sing to Yahweh a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand, and his holy arm, have worked salvation for him. (2) Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations. (3) He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. (4) Make a joyful noise to Yahweh, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!

Matthew 5:38-42
(38) “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ (39) But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also. (40) If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also. (41) Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. (42) Give to him who asks you, and don’t turn away him who desires to borrow from you.
